How to use ADB and Fastboot with MTK devices
ADB and Fastboot are two tools that allow you to communicate with Android devices from a computer. ADB stands for Android Debug Bridge, and it lets you perform various actions on your device, such as installing apps, copying files, debugging apps, etc. Fastboot is a mode that lets you flash firmware images, such as bootloaders, recovery, system, etc.
MTK devices are devices that use MediaTek chipsets, which are popular among low-end and mid-range Android phones. Some examples of MTK devices are Redmi Note 8 Pro, Realme C2, Oppo A5s, etc. To use ADB and Fastboot with MTK devices, you need to install some drivers and tools on your computer.
Steps to use ADB and Fastboot with MTK devices
Download and install the MTK USB driver from here. This driver will allow your computer to recognize your MTK device when connected via USB.
Download and extract the ADB and Fastboot++ tool from here. This tool is a modified version of the official ADB and Fastboot tool from Google that supports MTK devices.
Enable USB debugging on your MTK device. To do this, go to Settings > About phone > Tap on Build number seven times to enable Developer options. Then go back to Settings > Developer options > Enable USB debugging.
Connect your MTK device to your computer via USB cable. You should see a notification on your device asking for permission to allow USB debugging. Tap on OK.
Open a command prompt window on your computer and navigate to the folder where you extracted the ADB and Fastboot++ tool. You can do this by holding Shift and right-clicking on an empty space in the folder, then selecting Open command window here.
Type adb devices in the command prompt window and press Enter. You should see a list of devices attached to your computer, including your MTK device with its serial number.

To use Fastboot commands on your MTK device, you need to boot it into Fastboot mode first. To do this, type adb reboot bootloader and press Enter. Your device will reboot into Fastboot mode.

ADB and Fastboot are powerful tools that can help you customize and troubleshoot your Android device. By following the steps above, you can use them with any MTK device easily.
